Drayton Manor Park.

Drive in and park your car in one of the four car parks.  There's a new system where you pay for admission only or admission and ride wristband.  The first thing you will probably notice is that the rides are quite squished in together, but it doesn't really matter, does it.  There is also a big lake in the middle to add more effects to some rides and for a nice boat.  There's a lot of shops and restaurants at entrance one - for coach groups - and as you walk through them you come to Aerial Park.  Aerial Park is full of high things: *NEW FOR 2000* - Apocalypse, The Ferris Wheel and The Skyflyer.  There's also The Haunting and *NEW FOR 2000* - Golden Nuggets Wild West Shoot Out.  Apocalypse is new and is a 54 metre freefall.  Not only that, it's the worlds first stand up freefall!!  Plus it's 3Gs!  Ekk!  Moving on to the zoo - I suggest you visit this after the rides have closed as it's open for an extra bit.  You should also take a look at the life size dinosaur models - its only an extra 20p.  Walk on to Robinsons Children's Corner (don't worry, it's not to do with Anne Robinson)!  There's loads for kids and small children to do, with smaller versions of other rides including the Super Dragon Roller Coaster.  Run on to Action Park, past the swinging ship and over the railway to experience the best bit.  Stormforce 10 (the log-flume with a backwards drop) and the Klondike Old Mine Coaster (with a vertical loop) are waiting to be ridden!  So are Splash Canyon Rapids and Shockwave - Europe's only stand-up coaster.  To view the park take a trip on the chair lift or to get around use the mini' railway.  It's one cool park with rides no other parks have.
